A Loving Presence for Your Loved One
Do you have an aging parent, grandparent, or elder in your life who could benefit from meaningful one-on-one connection?Legacy of Care offers warm, heart-centered companionship visits designed to provide emotional presence, gentle conversation, and legacy storytelling for seniors who may be feeling isolated, under-stimulated, or in need of intentional care beyond medical support.Whether your loved one is at home, in a care facility, or living independently, my visits are designed to nourish their mind, uplift their heart, and honor the life theyβve lived β with dignity and genuine connection.
Why It Matters
Many elders receive excellent physical care β but little space for their inner world to be seen, heard, and remembered. These visits are not clinical therapy or medical care. They are an opportunity for your loved one to be deeply witnessed, emotionally nourished, and lovingly engaged β all within a safe, grounded, and meaningful setting.
What I Offer
Each 1-hour visit offers compassionate conversation and active listening, gentle cognitive stimulation through open-ended questions, shared memories, and emotional check-ins, as well as, joy, laughter, and a trip down memory lane with legacy storytelling, music of choice and reflection to honor the individualβs unique life journey. Visits are guided by empathetic support from a professional with a background in psychology and specialized training in end-of-life care. Optional session reflections can also be emailed to the family after each visit, providing meaningful insights and continuity of care.
